The future of the beloved Festival of Busselton was uncertain after it nearly folded due to too few volunteers. However, a late surge in community support enabled organizers to form a viable committee, ensuring the festival’s return in 2025. Heather Hunt, our president, chatted with 6PR Perth about how the community rallied together just in time—take a listen! She shared, “It took a while, but eventually we formed a committee that was willing and able, and we managed to bring it back.”
Thanks to the dedication of local volunteers, the Festival of Busselton will proudly celebrate its 61st edition after almost disappearing.
