Chalk it Up

NEW EVENT!!!

Footpaths Come Alive with Art!

Get ready to unleash your creativity at one of the most colourful events of the Festival of Busselton! 🌈

Join us at Foreshore Park for a morning where the pathways transform into a giant outdoor gallery. Whether you’re a budding young artist, a family looking for a fun morning out, or simply love to draw, this event is for everyone.

Bright, vibrant chalk will be provided — all you need to bring is your imagination! Create your masterpiece right on the footpaths and watch the park come to life with bursts of colour, creativity, and community spirit.

There are fantastic prizes for various age groups, so everyone has a chance to win. Remember — you’ve got to be in it to win it! The judges’ decision will be final, and entries will be judged on creativity, colour, and originality.

2nd Jan – 2026.

Registrations open from 8:30am, with drawing beginning at 9:00am. Judging will commence at 10:30am, and winners will be announced by 11:00am.

Bring your friends, your family, and your creativity for a fun and relaxed morning by the foreshore. It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate art, the outdoors, and our local community in true Busselton style.

This event is free to enter and open to everyone. Chalk will be provided on the day, so just turn up and let your imagination run wild. Come along and help make Busselton’s footpaths come alive with art!
