Welcome to the Festival of Busselton! By participating in any Festival of Busselton event, activity, or competition, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before attending or registering.

1. General Information

The Festival of Busselton is organised by the Festival of Busselton Committee Inc. (“the Organiser”). Events are held at various locations across Busselton throughout the festival period. Event details are subject to change without notice.

2. Participation

Participation in Festival activities is at your own risk. By attending, you acknowledge that outdoor events may involve inherent risks, including weather conditions, uneven surfaces, or crowds. Please follow all directions from event staff and volunteers at all times.

Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person behaving inappropriately, endangering others, or disrupting the event.

3. Registrations and Competitions

For events or competitions requiring registration, all participants must complete the required forms and comply with the event rules.
Late registrations may not be accepted. Judges’ decisions in competitions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellations and Changes

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or alter any event, activity, or performance due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, safety concerns, or other factors beyond our control. Updates will be shared via the Festival website and social media channels.

5. Health and Safety

All participants and attendees are expected to act safely and responsibly. Please use bins provided, respect the environment, and be mindful of others.
In the event of an emergency, follow instructions from event officials or emergency services personnel.

6. Photography and Media

By attending the Festival, you consent to being photographed or filmed. Images and footage may be used by the Festival of Busselton for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please advise a Festival representative on the day.

7. Privacy

Personal information collected through event registrations or online forms will be used solely for Festival-related purposes and managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your details will not be shared with third parties without consent.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Festival of Busselton Committee Inc. accepts no liability for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising from participation or attendance at Festival events.

9. Alcohol and Smoking

Some Festival events may be licensed; ID will be required for alcohol purchase or consumption. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. Please respect venue regulations.
