Outdoor Cinema – Paper Planes

Art Geo Courtyard Busselton, 7:30pm – 9:30pm approx.

Movie starts when the sun is set but come early to get your spot! Before the film everyone can have a go at making their own paper planes and see who can fly the furthest! Please only bring low back chairs or picnic blankets so that everyone can enjoy the film.

Sandcastle Competition

Busselton Foreshore Beach (between big jetty & little jetty), 10am - 12pm

Grab your buckets & spades and head on down for this all-ages competition! Thanks to our friends at the Busselton Jetty there will be prizes available for the most amazing sandcastle creations! Entry is free!

Pirate’s Day on The Leeuwin II

Allie’s Landing on Busselton Jetty, 9:30am - 11am 

Dress in your best pirate outfit and come onboard the Leeuwin II docked at Allie’s Landing on the Busselton Jetty. For a gold coin donation, you can explore the ship and prizes will be awarded to the best dressed kids! This is an all-ages event so anyone who loves to dress up like a pirate, and/or wants to see the Leeuwin, can come along!

 

Thursday 11th Jan

Yalyalup Twilight Picnic & Glow Ride

Georgiana Molly School, 6pm – 8:30pm

Relax by on the grass of the school oval with live music by Jensen Emmett and grab dinner from one our food vans, or pack a picnic. Kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes to ride along our lakeside course in a bicycle parade around the nearby park! Glow sticks and recycled materials are highly encouraged! There will also be market stalls on the night for some fun shopping! This is a free family-friendly event.

 

Saturday 13th Jan

Dogs Day Out

Kaloorup Oval Vasse, 8am – 11am

Bring your dogs along for all the fun! There will be market stalls for dog lovers, a sausage sizzle and a coffee van. You can enter your pooch in our pet parade to win some pawesome prizes! Show off their talents, or simply show off how cute they are! Prizes for best dressed too, so you can even dress your doggo up! Entry is FREE!

**Please note: all dogs must be on a leash at all times, dog poo bags and water will be provided. Please no unsociable dogs**

 

Sunday 14th Jan

Dunsborough Twilight Picnic

Dunsborough Foreshore, 6pm – 8:30pm

Enjoy sunset by the beach with live music by Maya Ixchell and grab dinner from one our food vans, or pack a picnic. There will be market stalls on the night for some light shopping and other activities for the whole family! This is a free family-friendly event.

Petticoat Lane

Queen Street Busselton, 6pm – 9pm

The centre of town becomes a huge twilight market as stalls set up and businesses open their doors for late night trade. There will be food and entertainment galore to keep you going as you shop ‘til you drop! This year will see many new stalls join us as well as lots of old favourites.

Art in the Park

Experience an art gallery in the park at the heart of town. This event is proudly run by the Busselton Art Society.

Main Event Concert

Busselton Foreshore Amphitheatre, 5pm – 9pm

Don’t miss the Festival’s spectacular Main Event! The evening will kick off with Battle of The Bands 1st heat – don’t miss seeing what amazing talent the local kids have! Then we welcome back Jordan Anthony as our headline act, performing covers and originals with his band.

 

Saturday 20th Jan

Fireworks

Busselton Foreshore, 9pm

At the conclusion of the concert turn your attention to the sky as we light up the night! Our amazing fireworks display will be released from the iconic Busselton Jetty and can be seen across the bay.

Community Open Water Swim

Busselton Foreshore, from 5:30am 

Hosted by Swimming Australia & Swimming WA. Registrations open at 5:30am, briefing at 6:50am and the first wave of the race takes off at 7:00am.

60th Anniversary Gala

Origins Markets, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Join us to celebrate 60 wonderful years and relive the memories. There will be historic displays, speeches, prizes and best dressed awards. Come dressed as a Festival Queen from years passed and you could win! Entry is free and all are welcome. Food & drinks available for purchase.
