Float Parade
Creativity on wheels
SATURDAY, 11TH JANUARY 2020
4:00pm - 5:00pm
Starts at Signal Park and makes it way up and down Queen Street
Get your float on and join thousands as the streets of Busselton come alive with WA’s oldest Float parade. Colourful, quirky, curious, and eye-popping floats all individually decorated and featuring local businesses and community groups. Rotary Club members will start organising floats from 3.30pm at Signal Park and then let them loose at 4.00pm, where they’ll travel down Queen Street, then along Prince, Stanley and Albert Streets before returning back along Queen Street to Signal Park. Roads will be closed to traffic during this time.
BUSSELTON'S FLOAT PARADE IS FREE TO ENTER! Businesses are encouraged to enter a team-decorated float or a commercial vehicle for a little extra promotion. Handheld water pistols permitted. Water bombs, buckets of water and use of hoses are not permitted.
After the Float Parade, don’t go home. Keep the fun going and head to the Busselton Foreshore Amphitheatre for the Eats & Beats event starting at 5pm! For more information, go to https://www.festivalofbusselton.com.au/eats-and-beats
